The Gwinnett County Swim Meet occurs at the end of each season and it determines each team's rank for a given season. This event is held at the GA Tech Olympic Pool facility and it is a BIG DEAL to qualify!

If your child swims on a top ("A") relay team, they could be asked to attend the County Meet by their coach even if they do not qualify for an individual event. 

Those swimmers who have qualified for the county meet will continue to practice after the end of the regular season until the county meet. Practice times for that week will be set by the coaches at the end of the season.   

Parents from each team do need to work as Volunteers for this meet. Our volunteer assignment is determined by the county. 

Please try to plan your summer vacations so your swimmer(s) are available to participate in the county swim meet.  Ask anyone who has participated--it's a really fun event that your child won't want to miss if they have qualified to be there.
